    • Sangat: A holy congregation where everyone, regardless of status, sits together at the same level to pray and listen to teachings.
    • Pangat: The practice of dining in rows on the floor, ensuring all participants—rich or poor, male or female—are treated as equals.
  • Compassion (Karuna): Gurdwaras offer unconditional support, providing free meals (langar), shelter, and safe havens to anyone in need, regardless of background, religion, or sexual orientation.
